Weekend wargames

Well the weekend just gone saw a Saturday filled with Ogres, stunties, betrayal (by me MUHAHAHHA) and  lots of grunts from the massed tribes and a Sunday of odd ships and land craft fighting it out in the south.

Went to my friend Sam's place for a weekend of wargaming and Mark and Ben climbed from the Hull flat lands to join us here in the mountains.
Sam organised the whole event with Saturday seeing the combined Ogre tribes of me, Ben and Mark take on Sam's Dwarves who were guarding a fortress.
Little did Ben and Mark realise that I had in fact been hired by the Empire to take out the Ogre assault force and save the Dwarves. And since Tyrant Bulcrunch likes his gold and the flavour of other Tyrants he decided to honour the agreement.

Necron back story

I have just finished writing the history behind where my Necron Dynasty comes from.
They are called the 'Anapnut Dynasty' and are a fleet based Necron force.

"The Anapnut dynasty is a rare thing amongst the many dynasties of the Necrons. They are an almost entirely ship based dynasty, the nobles choosing to rule from massive world engines more akin to metal moons than spaceships.  Each of these ships houses hundreds of thousands of Necrons and is commanded by an Overlord.  Each world engine is supported by a seemingly countless fleet of smaller craft ranging from smaller Dirge escorts to huge Tombships.  All of the Overlords answer to the Anapnut Phaeron Keksuhad Sekhrey. Keksuhad leads his forces from his supreme world engine known as Sekhmit.
The Anapnut dynasty has been a heavily shipped base society well before the biotransference that saw them transformed into the soulless metal beings they are today.

I have created this area to bring together all my wargaming progress in to one place making life much easier.
I will still be keeping my Ultramar and Necron blogs open, but they are now all accessible from here through the links above.
This blog its self will house any further projects out side of Ultramar, this includes Fantasy to BFG and beyond.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you will keep coming back to check in.
