Unboxing The Ultimate Warhammer 40,000 6th Ed Bundle!

Well I was weak and could not resist purchasing my self the  Ultimate Warhammer 40,000 Bundle when they became available for pre-order last week.
And I have to say, I am VERY glad I did.

I headed on over to GW Bradford to pick it up this morning and here it is........

The giant box it all came in!
Was impressed that you get one of these in there, a simple thank you for being a loyal customer. Thank you GW.
The extras they were talking about. Top left is the letter, top right the envelope it came in. Then there is a poster, a mug and a pin.

Another little extra is some cards with art work on them.
The dice, objective markers, Psychic power cards, Lasgun ammo pack tin and new templates.

Standard edition rulebook and the book bag. Of course I put the Imperial pin on it...none of that Chaos nonsense here.

As you can see there is plenty of room.

Got the Lasgun tin with the dice and the objective markers in one pocket and the P-cards in another. Spare one for what ever I feel like I suppose.
And now for the main event.
The limited edition rulebook.
Lovely leather effect case to keep it in.

The side of the case opens to reveal some beautiful art work.

Mega thick with the good quality paper. Love it.

Front of the book.

I got 475/4000 copies. Not bad.

Really impressed with the quality of all the products, but then that is to be expected from GW, as pretty much all their stuff is. Now all I need to do is get my head down and read the new rules and see what is what!!!

Can't wait to get my first game in on Thursday with Skal!

What are all your opinions on the new rules then? Leave me a comment below!
Happy reading folks.

  2. its pretty and nice that you do get something special for your purchase. The thing for me would be that Id never touch it for fear of damage, so a hobo copy will do me. I am looking forward to getting teeth in to this ed, games have got to be coming very soon.

  3. Aye, I know what you mean. But I am basically intending to only read this at home when checking things and taking my time. The 'hobo copy', as you put it, is for every other time.

From what I have read so far it seems pretty damn good.
You know me and gaming, I am happy to when ever possible. We will have to arrange something.

  5. Awesome. I got the Collectors Edition. Amazing quality. I will have to get the "hobo" edition though, for everyday use.

    1. Aye, that's why I got this one. As you get both. Couldn't be risking damaging the collectors one. Oh no.
