Well I was weak and could not resist purchasing my self the Ultimate Warhammer 40,000 Bundle when they became available for pre-order last week.
And I have to say, I am VERY glad I did.
I headed on over to GW Bradford to pick it up this morning and here it is........
This is a place where my many interests, hobbies and my life in general collide. It's not going to be just one topic, its not going to be focused on one part of me. Instead it is going to be all of me. What I create, what I enjoy, what I think and feel. Basically a dumping ground for what goes on in my brain and in my life. I hope you enjoy your stay, and I hope you find at least something you like. Thanks for visiting. Angryhatter

Night/Doom Scythe Complete
Finished up my Necron Scythe model last night. Since the under slung part can be so easily swapped out and nothing else is different I painted up both attachments and didn't glue them.
The model was a joy to paint. Lovely to paint something large that wasn't a Space Marine tank. As much as I love my Ultramarines I have to say I am bored with painting their vehicles.

Night/Doom Scythe WIP#1
I have been working on my Night/Doom Scythe kit for about a week now. Not had as much time as I would like to throw at it but I have been making some progress.
I really enjoyed building the kit, its really well designed and really easy to assemble. One feature I really like is that the portal and ray can be changed out easily with out magnets provided you don't glue it and build both features.
I got it all built up, base included, fairly quickly and started planning the paint. Having only painted two basic test miniatures for my cron force so far (a warrior and a scarab base, see HERE) I knew the basic colour scheme but was not sure how to enlarge it to this scale. One thing that did not come up with the warrior or scarabs was the colour to use for the senior troops/leaders and vehicles. This of course did some up here. My initial plan was to go with silver, but I decided to add some gold in there instead. I think it goes with the black, grey and red scheme better and I am really happy with the result thus far.

Maritime Fleet Elements gathered, Mercs on the Horizon.
Been hard at work over the last few day and have completed the remaining maritime elements of War Fleet Strabonis.
This includes the Escort attachment for the Fleet and my Thales Class Corvette Squadron 'Drake'.
Also I have painted up the Mercenary Sub the Black Wolf.
